Netscape 6 Configuration

NOTE: Before starting installation, make sure all other programs are closed.
Double click on the Netscape 6 icon.

Click Cancel


Click Cancel again
Click Edit on the top menu.


Click Preferences at the bottom of the list
In the white box labeled Location type www.mlode.com


Click OK
Click on the envelope on the bottom left titled Mail & Newsgroups


Choose ISP or E-mail provider


Click Next
Type your real name in the first box.
Type your E-mail address in the second box (All lower case)


Click Next
Choose POP
In both white boxes type in all lower case mail.mlode.com


Click Next
Type your name


Click Next
Type in all lower case your E-mail address.


Click Next
Confirm the information and make sure you have not made any mistakes then
Click Finish.


Click Yes


In all lower case type your E-mail password
Place a check mark in Use Password Manager to remember this password


Press OK


Press OK again.
Click Edit and then Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings…


On the left click Outgoing Server (SMTP)


Remove the check mark in Use name and password and place the black dot in Never
Press OK
You are now finished and ready to use Netscape 6
