Tech Support - Microsoft Windows- E-mail Setup - Netscape 4.7

 

Netscape 4.79 Configuration for Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP


NOTE: Before starting installation, make sure all other programs are closed.


Double click on the Netscape Communicator 4.79 icon.

Click Next
Type your real name in the first box.
Type your E-mail address in the second box (All lower case)



Click Next
Leave all information the same, change nothing.


Click Next
Type in all lower case mail.mlode.com


Click Next
Type the E-mail user name in the top box. The user name is the first half of your E-mail address.
For example if your E-mail address was jsmith@mlode.com then your username would be jsmith
Type in the second white box in all lower case mail.mlode.com.
With the block dot choose POP3


Click Next
Type news.mlode.com in the top box
Change nothing else.


Click Finish
Click Edit at the top
Click Preferences in the edit menu.


On the right hand side in the white box labeled location type www.mlode.com


On the left hand side click the “+” next to Mail & Newsgroups
It will be come a “-“.


Click on Mail Servers
Then on the top left click on mail.mlode.com in the top right box.


Click the Edit button on the right.
Place a check mark in Remember Password


Press OK
Press OK


You are now setup and ready to go.
