Click Next and watch as the files are installed.
When the License Agreement opens,
make sure to read over it.
Then if you agree,
use the scroll bar on the right to scroll down
and click I Agree
After a short pause you will be prompted for an Access Code click
Cancel in the bottom left corner.
Click Yes to confirm Cancellation
Click Install additional Internet programs
On the left click on the underlined Netscape 4.7.9
On the right hand side click on the underlined words Install this
program
Read the warning box then click Yes
Click Next
Next a Software Licensing Agreement will appear
Click Yes
Next you will be asked to choose your type of installation, choose
Typical
NOTE: In some cases another box may appear reading,
“Directory does not exist would you like to create one
now”
If it does Click YES
Click Next
The next screen that appears will ask for Desktop Preferences
Just click Next
Just click Next
Just click Next
Now it will copy the files to your computer when it has finished
you will see the following screen.
Click No
Click Ok
You should now see a window on your screen similar to this.
Close it by hitting the “X” in the top right hand
corner.
You must now reboot your computer before you can continue.
Once your computer has restarted, you will see the following
screens.
You will then be prompted for an ”ISP Access
Code”.
Type mli in the white box then click the Next button.
Now a box should appear titled “Acceptable Use
Policy”
This should be read before clicking Continue.
(Customers are responsible for knowing what they are agreeing too)
then click Continue.
For the Dialup Login Name type your USER name that you chose when
you signed up at MLI.
For the E-mail user name box just type in your E-mail address (in
all lower case)
For the Real name box type your real name for example Adam
Smith.
Note: You do not have to type in your last name unless you want
to.
Once you have filled in all 3 boxes. Click the Continue
button.
In the “Pick the closest State” box, select ALL STATES.
In the Closest City location box pick the closest location to you.
If you are in Sonora or the surrounding area pick Sonora.
Choose a number that matches your area.
Click Continue
It will now configure your Netscape for E-mail and your Internet dialer.
When it has finished press Ok to continue
In some cases you may see the following 2 screens.
If you do not, simply skip to the next step to continue.
Click Yes
Click Ok
Simply click Quit and your are finished.
Your Netscape is configured correctly and now setup for
E-mail.
Just double click on the Netscape Icon to browse the Internet.
